Project Overview:
Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) is an exciting and growing business that serves the increasing demand of EPC services for customers in the semiconductor (manufacturing facilities and supply chain); data centre, electric vehicle (batteries, charging infrastructure, and production); and life sciences markets.

Job Summary:
Assigned to support the Site Manager in leading overall construction operations across the project. Responsible for directing and coordinating direct hire craft, indirect craft, and construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. Works with construction leadership and project controls to develop and implement execution plans, track progress, and ensure operations are performed in accordance with schedule, budget, and project objectives. #LI-CL1
Major Responsibilities:
• Implements project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) and quality control programs across all field activities.
• Provides leadership and champions the Zero Accident Philosophy on the project.
• Maintains effective working relationships with project leadership, home office teams, and functional groups.
• Supports development and execution of construction execution plans including staffing, temporary facilities, utilities, traffic, and site logistics.
• Coordinates and prioritizes workforce, equipment, tools, and materials across the project to support execution.
• Ensures construction operations are performed in accordance with approved plans, quality standards, and project schedule.
• Controls jobsite expenditures for labor, equipment, and materials to maintain budget performance.
• Supports development and implementation of craft training and workforce development programs.
• Resolves jobsite issues including labor relations and performance challenges in coordination with project leadership.
• Coordinates overall field execution to maintain alignment with project schedules and progress objectives.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
• Previous experience in a senior supervisory role such as Area Superintendent, Area Manager, or Project Superintendent.
• Knowledge of all phases of construction operations and project execution requirements.
• Understanding of ES&H programs and the Zero Accident Philosophy.
• Experience with workforce management, labor relations, and craft professional supervision.
• Understanding of project controls, schedule tracking, and budget management.
• Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs) and Standard Application Programs (BSAP).
