Project Overview:

Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Bechtel’s scope of service in Sentinel’s current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.

A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide document management support by performing clerical duties for data entry of document information into ECMS (Enterprise Content Management Systems), transmitting, maintaining, and retrieving project records in accordance with company guidelines. You will assist with customer service, questions, issues, updates, quality checks, and project closeout activities. May have access to confidential data. Your attention to detail and data accuracy will help ensure successful compliance with document and records management procedures.

This position will be located at the Sentinel Project Management Annex (PMA) in Ogden, UT, and reports to the Office & Administrative Services (O&AS) Document Control Supervisor.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces with internal and external customers in the resolution of questions, issues or actions
  • Provides document and/or records management to include receiving, processing, distributing, retrieving and maintaining documents and/or records in accordance with established policies, and procedures
  • Performs document/record entry using enterprise content management system (ECMS), handling standard data entry
  • Monitors and reviews data entry for accuracy by self-performing quality checks
  • Helps with administrative support tasks for the site when needed
  • Perform other O&AS tasks as required

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires 1-2 years of related experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  A skills assessment may be administered to determine proficiency.
  • Intermediate written and verbal communication skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation and proper use of syntax. 
  • A skills assessment may be administered to determine proficiency.
  • Intermediate skills in inputting and reviewing data entry into an ECMS
