Job Summary:
Cybersecurity Risk Management is seeking a Cybersecurity Program Communications & Engagement Lead to translate cybersecurity strategy, governance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and related enterprise objectives into repeatable processes, executable workplans, and consistent operating routines. The role maintains visibility into priorities, dependencies, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional work across Corporate Functions, IS&T, Cybersecurity, and Global Business Units, bringing structure to complex delivery so subject matter experts and program owners can focus on strategic and technical decisions.
Major Responsibilities:
Operational Process Leadership
- Design, document, implement, and continuously improve repeatable workflows, templates, trackers, calendars, repositories, and collaboration practices for assigned initiatives.
- Coordinate intake, prioritization, assignment, and tracking of operational requests and commitments.
- Define process roles, handoffs, inputs, outputs, controls, service expectations, and escalation paths.
- Reduce manual effort, improve data quality, remove bottlenecks, and increase delivery predictability.
- Maintain controlled process documentation, records, and authorized evidence repositories.
Program and Project Coordination
- Develop and maintain integrated plans covering scope, milestones, schedules, dependencies, deliverables, and resource assumptions.
- Coordinate execution across workstreams and ensure owners understand commitments, target dates, and outcomes.
- Maintain action, issue, risk, dependency, and decision logs; drive follow-up and escalate barriers.
- Facilitate kickoff, planning, status, working, governance, and closeout meetings, including agendas, notes, and action summaries.
- Support change control by documenting proposals, assessing operational impacts, and maintaining approved baselines.
Governance, Reporting, and Decision Support
- Collect and validate program data, monitor key performance indicators, and resolve incomplete or inconsistent information.
- Coordinate governance forums by consolidating inputs, documenting decisions and approvals, and tracking resulting actions.
- Support audit and assurance activities by coordinating evidence requests, maintaining traceability, and tracking remediation commitments.
- Assess process and delivery health and recommend corrective actions to leadership.
Executive Presentation and Briefing Support
- Develop executive-ready presentations, briefings, decision papers, talking points, and pre-read packages for sponsors, governance bodies, and senior leadership.
- Translate detailed information into concise, audience-appropriate messages covering objectives, progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and recommended actions.
- Coordinate stakeholder inputs and validate content for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and audience alignment.
- Create clear storylines, executive summaries, roadmap and milestone views, dashboard visuals, and decision-focused recommendations.
- Manage development timelines, review cycles, approvals, version control, and distribution of authorized materials.
- Prepare presenters with speaker notes, anticipated questions and responses, and supporting detail.
- Capture executive feedback, decisions, and actions in workplans and governance records.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in business, process management, project management, information systems, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related discipline, and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
- Must be a US citizen.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives and operational processes in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong working knowledge of process design, project planning, dependency management, risk and issue management, change control, status reporting, and governance practices.
- Ability to convert broad objectives into documented processes, structured workplans, clear deliverables, and practical operating routines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-ready presentations and facilitating cross-functional meetings.
- Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately and operate effectively with limited supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 collaboration, presentation, work management, and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting cybersecurity, technology, business continuity, disaster recovery, enterprise risk, compliance, audit, or operational resilience programs.
- Knowledge of business continuity and cybersecurity frameworks or standards such as ISO 22301, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or NIST SP 800-34.
- Experience coordinating assessments, exercises, testing activities, remediation plans, or audit evidence collection.
- Experience with process mapping, continuous improvement, project portfolio, work management, dashboarding, or reporting platforms.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum Master, or an equivalent process, project, or program management credential.
