Project Overview:

Job Summary:

The position will be responsible for assisting in the use of S3D and CAD applications in projects developed under the BIM methodology, supporting the engineering work process to produce 3D models and all associated deliverables, must have experience managing S3D and CAD applications, SQL databases and code programming, necessary for the success of the project.

Major Responsibilities:

• Providing daily fundamental technical support, training and best practice guidance to project users (CAD and S3D).
• Managing and maintaining the Smart 3D and CAD system operational and functional during the life of the project.
• Configuring the CAD environment, including configuration of the MicroStation environment for each project, creation of project bullet points, application access management, configuration of printing devices, maintenance of the folder structure and specific CAD routines.
• Configuring S3D, including configuration of drawing styles and MTOs, reports and general system configuration to produce 3D models for the federated model of the project.
• Configuring and maintaining solutions for the integration of data and models according to the definitions of the BIM Execution Plan. working as a team with the other functions and stakeholders.
• Contributing to the development of the project's BIM Execution Plan and configure the applications and deliverables (reports, documents and models) to meet the requirements defined for each stage of the project.
• Preparing documents and technical guides for the use of applications and data integration.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in work processes using traditional methods and/or Artificial Intelligence.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Position requires an university degree in Engineering, Construction, IT, Management, Systems or Computer Science and 8+ years of experience supporting and managing the CAD/S3D environment, knowledge of engineering technology and design methods.
• Experience in Smart 3D Management is essential.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Certification in BIM Methodology and practical experience in one of the standard BIM roles.
• User of artificial intelligence tools.
• Knowledge and experience in the integration of BIM and AWP Methodology.
• Knowledge of SQL/ORACLE/ products, Intergraph SmartPlant suite (SPPID/SPEL/SPI/SPPID) is desirable.
• Knowledge in .net programming tools and programming languages.
• Knowledge in the configuration and use of Artificial Intelligence tools (desired).
